Pentecost

by Shirley Pegman 20. May 2010 13:17
On Monday we went for a walk to the local shops and we bought the ingredients to make bread, this was to celebrate Pentecost. On the way round to the shop we met a nice lady who stopped to talk to us, she said it was very nice to see happy smiley children. It was a lovely sunny day and we hope to go out for a walk again soon. On Tuesday we made our bread, we all stirred the mixture in the bowl and then helped to knead it on the table. It was lovely and squashy in our hands, we made sure we’d washed them first. Then Jo cooked them for us in the oven, we couldn’t see that bit because it was too hot. They came out really nice, we had one for tea and took some home to share. Please have a look at our board to see our pictures. If you have any old keys we would be very grateful to receive them, we would like to make some mobiles to hang outside in the garden so we can hear them chime. Thank you Shirley
