Physical Development

by Hayley 7. May 2010 10:33
This week the children have been doing lots of physical activities in the garden and in the room. They have been using their gross motor skills to play by walking, climbing and crawling to get to activities, for example they have been balancing along the balancing beams independently. The children have also been using their fine motor skills whilst playing, by drawing on paper at the art easel using pens, pencils, crayons etc. They have also used their fine motor skills to do puzzles and build towers. All the activities the children have been doing come under PD (Physical Development) of the EYFS planning. Could we also ask for photos to go into our family book for those children who do not already have them. Many thanks Hayley and Angela
