Growing plants

by Kay Folland 15. April 2010 12:58
In the Racoons, we have been doing lots of planting and growing over the last few weeks. We have planted Sunflowers, broad beans and vegetables. Our sunflowers are now out in the top garden getting lots of Sunshine! Our vegetables are being grown as part of our cooking classes and when they are ready we will cook them. We are also growing broad beans so we can see what happens to the seeds as they grow. We will keep you up to date on how our plants are growing but please feel free to come and have a look in our garden. I’m sure all the Racoons will be able to tell you all you need to know about our plants. And please keep those cards coming in so the children can use them for cutting. Thank you to those parents who have already given us lots. We’d like to welcome Louis to the Racoons who started with us this week.
