The day we went to the park
Today we went for a walk to the park and on the way we saw lots of different things like squirrels, pigeons and we even met a friendly dog called “William”. We also looked at the different colours around us and the different noises we could hear. When we walked through an underpass we all stopped and began to shout, it made a funny noise, this is called an echo.
On arrival we played on the slide where we used our climbing skills to get up the slide, there was also a roundabout where some of us sat on whilst being pushed around. This meant we used our pushing skills and also our balancing skills to make sure we did not fall off.
We played at the park for a while and then returned to the nursery.
When walking we held hands with one of our friends and we all did our best listening, following instructions. We had to wear a yellow vest so that if we decided to go exploring further one of the team would be able to see us, it also meant that other people could see us and see who we were. We all found this great fun and would like to go again soon.
