We recently celebrated Chinese New Year at the nursery and the children enjoyed their lunch of sweet & sour pork and prawn crackers. They even had a go at using the chopsticks to eat their lunch.
Last Shrove Tuesday we celebrated Pancake Day with pancakes for tea. The children had a choice of fillings like lemon, honey, syrup, yoghurt or fruit. The children in the bears and the pups also had their ‘Grandparents for tea’.
In March we intend to have some more theme meals to celebrate St. David’s day, St. Patrick’s day and Easter.
