The Teepee Nursery

Celebrations

by Hayley 9. February 2010 09:24

The children have been getting ready to celebrate Chinese new year and Valentines day. They have been doing this by decorating fans using a variety of resources such as glitter, paint and fabrics. We will also be maiking our own Valentines pictures by using a mixture of coulours (pink, white and red). This activity allows the children to find out about other cultures and how they are celebrated. Both activites help children develop their fine motor skills further as well as developing their creativity skills.  Also we will be inviting grandparents for tea on Tue 16th February for pancakes. Please speak to your keycarer if this sounds of interest.
