The children have been exploring the nursery rhymes by learning all the different tunes and rhymes. They have done this by humming and trying to sing along. It is fantastic to see the different interpretations of the actions for the songs. We have seen lots of hand waving, shapes made by fingers or just a nod of the head! What we have also seen in the bouncing bears is the children approaching us and saying ‘baa baa’ or ‘bubble’ which we interpret to mean they want to sing the song.
And of course we all have our favourites we like to sing, but here are some that we find most popular with the children.
I had a little Turtle

I put him in the bath tub

And now he’s ill in bed
