This week our topic was Knowledge (exploring and investigating) and Understanding of the World. The activities we chose were floating and sinking, the children chose objects to put in the water then watched what happened once they had put them in the water. The children experimented several times developing their understanding of floating and sinking. The children were also investigating the interest table where the children were using the magnifying glass to look at different leafs. The children then extended this activity by dipping the leafs in paint and pressing them onto paper to see what patterns they made.
Next week we will be looking at Physical Development.
