This week we were looking at Physical Development with the children. They have been busy dancing to music and moving their bodies in a variety of different ways, responding to the music in their own ways. This has also given them the opportunity to express themselves through sound and with actions.
The children have also been practising their skills with a ball, which they have been rolling along the floor. Most of them really appeared to enjoy this, especially when they were rolling the ball backwards and forwards between each other. This helps to develop their hand-eye co-ordination.
Next week we will be studying creative development with the children.
On Tuesday 29th September we will be celebrating Dassera
Friday 2nd October is Jeans for Genes day and we will be dressing up as cowboys and cowgirls please bring in a pound to donate to the charity feel free to read the blog on it for more information.
Friday October 9th is National Book start day and the children can come to the nursery dressed as their favourite nursery rhyme character.
